Alongside our SWL and work experience programs, the City LLEN organises industry events to further engage the students we work with. From webinars to site tours, we offer students the opportunity to learn more about the different pathways available on their career journeys.

Gardener

City of Melbourne

Park Rangers Tour

The City of Melbourne Park Rangers offer students the opportunity to take a tour of Fitzroy Gardens while learning about the various responsibilities of this role, from community engagement to plant care.

W Hotel

Hospitality Tour

The HR team at W Hotel have welcomed students for a behind-the-scenes peek at the various employment opportunities in a luxury hotel, while sharing their own journeys through this sector.

Kensington Community HS

Barista Training

Jesuit Social Services deliver an in-school barista training program, preparing students to seek out work in the hospitality sector as fully-trained baristas.

Trades Hall

Young Workers' Centre

The Young Workers' Centre at Trades Hall offers engagement days to ensure that young people have a full understanding of their rights at work.
